A Recent Guest Story........
"Can you please help me? My name is Carl* and I'm in dire need of help. My refrigerator quit and all my food, including my insulin, went bad. I'm a senior living on a very limited income and I'm nearly out of canned food."
Carl was invited to come get a to-go meal. He was given a box of nonperishable food items, and phone numbers for sister agencies to help with his other needs. He was so grateful! *Guest name changed for privacy.
Sometimes we hear difficult words... “We have nothing to eat” or “I never thought it would come to this.” But every night we hear this… “Thank you!” When you support Loaves & Fishes our guests’ thanks truly go to you. You help them secure their most basic need – food – and the nutrition they need to stay healthy.
